Personal Website Library
A personal project of mine. Somewhere I can collect and organise websites that have inspired and impressed me.

The Outdoor Space AI Garden Design App
Spacelift is an AI-powered garden design tool that helps users plan outdoor spaces with expert input. The client came to us with early user flow ideas and needed a full app designed to attract investment and gain traction.
It's been a hands-on, ongoing project involving multiple Figma prototypes, unmoderated user testing, and iterative design work. A big part of the process has been bridging the gap between users and professional landscapers—making sure the app feels approachable while still delivering expert-level results.

Redesigning the Zyntrix Loyalty App UX
I took over an early prototype of the Zyntrix Loyalty app and rebuilt the full UX from the ground up. The original designs were clunky and unclear, so I simplified the flows and created new screens to guide users more naturally through the key journeys—A2A payments, remote ID verification, and store loyalty.
I built a new design system to support the relaunch, designed for white labelling from day one. The result is a cleaner, more intuitive product that works for multiple retailers and use cases without extra effort.

Creating a custom ShadCN UI library in Figma
I was asked to design a dashboard using ShadCN UI, but there was no up-to-date Figma library available to work from. To speed up dev handoff and future work, I built a full component library in Figma based on the ShadCN system.
It gave us a shared source of truth and sped up design and build significantly. At the time there weren’t many options available—now there’s even an official file by Matt Wierzbicki, but back then we had to build it ourselves.
We’ve since reused the library across several projects.

API Landing Page for Developers
Designed and built a landing page for SkootEco’s API for Good, a platform that lets developers integrate sustainability into their applications. Adapting the SkootEco Design System, I created design tokens and components that maintained brand consistency while allowing this project to stand as a separate entity.
To cater to developers, I implemented Dark Mode and wrote clear, engaging content that effectively communicated the API’s value. The result is a responsive, scalable landing page that fits seamlessly within the SkootEco ecosystem.

Overhauling the Design System for Consistency
Following SkootEco’s rebrand, I revamped their design system in Figma to align with the new branding. I built a fresh system using an accessible colour palette and typeface combinations, while refining existing components and adding new ones for future features.
The system is now structured into clear sections: Design Foundations (colours, typography, elevations, radiuses, icons), Web Components, and Dashboard Components, ensuring consistency and scalability for SkootEco’s evolving needs.

A Complete Rebrand for a Growing Eco Business
SkootEco needed a full rebrand to reflect their expanding business and better engage their audience. I collaborated with the team to create a fresh logo, comprehensive brand guidelines, and a defined tone of voice.
The guidelines covered typography, colour palettes, logo usage rules, mission and vision statements, as well as brand values. After presenting several options, the final choice led to the development of a full Brand Handbook and one-page style guide, providing SkootEco with a cohesive identity for the future.

Bringing Personality to a Legal Practice
Kevin Leitão, a successful lawyer with a trusted reputation, wanted his website to reflect his unique personality. While not focused on attracting new clients, he aimed to maintain strong relationships and elevate his business presence.
I worked with him to create a less corporate, more personal site, incorporating his favorite color, purple, inspired by his much-admired jumper. The result is a professional yet warm website that truly feels like Kevin and strengthens his brand’s identity.

Elevating a Private Jet Business
Mikolay Jet, a new venture in buying and selling pre-owned private jets, was founded by Michael Mikolay after years in the industry.
I collaborated with the branding team to develop a luxury website that showcases their fleet while building trust through storytelling. The site highlights the founder's journey, with rich content, imagery, and blog posts that capture the high-end nature of the business, ensuring potential clients feel confident in their services.

Hi, I'm Mason.
Nice to meet you!

I’ve been working as a Product Designer for 5+, specialising in UI/UX and Design Systems management in Figma, as well as Webflow development.
Based in Yorkshire, North of England, I create solutions that are both visually compelling and technically robust.
When I’m not designing, I’m restoring my Victorian house using traditional methods to bring it back to its original charm. This hands-on approach influences my design work, where attention to detail and authenticity are key.
